Keeping not only current with IT industry trends and emerging technologies in order to anticipate changes in IT workforce demand is an essential core service the Center of Excellence provides to Washington State’s community and technical system.
The Center performs research (both qualitative and quantitative) based on traditional research, as well as resourcing the actual work of IT professionals, that produces a variety of products:
- Curriculum reviews (including consulting) of IT programs, degrees (both associates and bachelors), certificates
- Grant projects and proposals
- Newsletters
- Presentations, including webinars and live tapings
- Reports and white papers
